Million miles an hour

Million miles an hour

A Poem by Wheresware

She's going a million miles an hour
She thinks life is all about money and power
But she's sweet and kind
She's definitely hard to find

Her pace is just too fast
In this race I finish last
She likes me I like her
But at this pace I must defer

One day life is going to pass her by
And she's not going to help but cry
Her and I will never be
In awhile she'll see

How I wish I could keep her around
But alone I am forever bound
For the first time in a long time I felt great
But in the end this was always going to be my fate

I am convinced that I will never be loved
Feel as though I have been shunned
While she'll live happily ever after
My life will remain in shatter
