Paper

Paper

A Poem by WhereItResides
"

Paper creates Paper destroys

"

Paper

Paper cuts

Paper heals.

Paper is blind

Paper sees.

        Paper has no mind

Yet it is the outlet for one.

Paper hates

Paper loves.

Paper lies

Paper teaches.

Paper is trash

Paper is money

Paper is white.

     Paper is colored.

Paper destroys.

Paper creates.

I love all of your points, and I love the physical layout of the beginning of the poem. The 5th and 6th line about the mind is my favorite section of this piece. The comparatives throughout are well-chosen, but I think readjusting the order may make this even more powerful. The strength of that section on the mind I believe is that it shows you the comparative rather than tells. For example, "Paper is blind, yet opens eyes to reality." I suggest just a couple more of this kind of comparative to really give that full impact.

Cool concept. I really like the structure and cadence. Excellent work.
