I'm writing these confessions to you

Let the ink spelled words

devour you as you look on

 

I'm writing these confessions to you

For every mistake that I have made

for everything you will never believe in

 

I'm writing these confessions to you

I know you won't take this seriously

But I need to you to know

with every breath that I have taken

Never once have I regreted

 

I'm writing these confessions to you

Not the easiest thing in the world

when your pride is ripped up from word to word

 

It's not like you will ever understand

everything I have to go through

maybe someday we will see things clearly

 

 

Maybe someday you will get to see

the world does not revovle around you

but why would you change

if its not for the kindness of your heart

 

I'm writing these confessions to you

I know now you will never see

I know you will never learn

never listen to me as I scream for  you to hear me plea

 

I'm writing these confessions to you

Maybe someday you'll understand

Ah, a great confession of realizing that your lover is now not on the same page as you. I like this poem a lot. It had a great meter and was fluid as well. Nice work and keep writing.
