Chapter 2

I mummbled to myself about the possiblites of how he knew my name and it landed on one.

He obviously had some of my blood. I stomped my foot on the ground and continued to mutter something. I entered the large kingdom with guards at the gates welcoming me.  I looked around and froze. The same man. That same guy was standing there, the one that knew my name!

 

He walked up to my casually and said

"Well, its nice to see you again."

 

"You knew I was coming here!" I exclaimed.

He shrugged.

"So I did."

 

He looked at me and said

 

"My name is Adam by the way. I just felt a little weird that you didn't know my name and I knew yours."

 

"Uh huh.' I said as I continued to walk on so I can get to the Main building and sign back in.

 

"You know, if this is the thanks I get for saving you life, your very... unapreciative."

 

I looked at him. Analyzing his face to see if this was some kind of cruel joke. Does he not realize who he was talking to?

 

"Ah, yes. No joke, no joke. I know of you A class warriorrs being so stuborn and rude and-"

 

he went on and on about how he precieved us. Sad to say some of that was true.

 

"Why are you following me?"

I asked him as he got to hot headed.

 

He shrugged "I just came to make sure that you didn't get hurt anymore."

 

I sighed and waved my arms about.

 

"Im not hurt Im perfectly fine. You may leave."

 

His smile never vanished and witha  wave he said

 

"Alright, but since I saved you life, we basically have a bond now so whenever you need me, just whistle."

 

He whistled a soft tune and with that he walked a way. I was tempted to try the tune but I knew it would include more time with him, and it was something I had enough of already.

 

I shook my head and entered Headquarters. A gaint skyscrapper building with about twenty floors.

 

All a part of the disguise though.

 

"So she lives." Suki said as she came up and hugged me.

 

'And not a scar on her."

 

I rolled my eyes and signed in.

 

"You have a new mission."

 

"Your kidding me right?" I asked her despreate for it not to be true.

 

'Hey you shouldve been back yesterday, now you have to pay with a new mission."

 

I grumbled about how it wasn't fair and went to my office where sure enough a black folder laid.

 

It was obviously a hunt and kill sort of thing. I sat down and motioned for suki to leave. It obviously didn't require her paitence.

 

She sighed frustrated. See, no paitence. Not that she had any to begin with. This mission was a slow process one and she was one of those who got things done quickly.

 

She left in a hurry and I began to read the details.

 

Name: Adam Eiver (eye-ver)

Age: 19

sex: Male

Appreance: Brown hair, blue eyes, about 6'2. Usually wears white shirts with ripped jeans.

 

 

I sighed and closed the folder. I was too tired to be thinking right now. It also sounded like I was hunting the same guy who saved my life. I shook my head and took the folder with me as I went home.

 

Adam was there. With a box in his hands. and he mummbled something, handed me the box, and walked away, out toward the kingdom and into his little home....hopefully.

 

I walked into the house and sat down cuiorus as to what the box held.
