Tonight

Tonight

A Poem by Luna Zerimar

Forget the heart. I'm writing with my head tonight.
I'm worn out. I'm tired.
There's nothing left that inspires. Nothing left to inspire.
Forget living life
The motivation.
I'd rather end it all.
I'm ready to face damnation.
Others say I shouldn't
Wouldn't,
Couldn't die.
How can I?
No one used to care.
No one dared to know me.
So why waste my time?
Why should I save me?
Forget the future.
I don't want it. Never will.
Why need it? There's nothing there.
I'm so tired. So f*****g tired
I just want to die.
So tonight,...
I think with my head. And forget the heart.

another very raw poem, i fell into oblivion here with you, been there as well, we can get lost in the absurdity, realize that its not just you tho, hell, a whole philosophy was built out of the absurd...and even when we are so alone, ive learned that there is so much beauty in observing nature and people and everything...us writers are flys on the wall right

I think it was more from your heart than head. Because heart is that soft spot which make everyone thinks this way....

This is exactly what someone thinks when they's just lost control oh how they feel and just forget what their heart says. Beautiful

Why? Because you deserve to live… I think all feel like this sometime in our life, but our purpose is out there.

The poem flows beautifully from line to line. The words are well chosen to convey a sense of oppressive despair and depression. The pain in the writer's heart is evident throughout the piece, which eventually forces them to abandon the heart in favour of the mind, in desperation. Very well written!
