Mr. Roscoe

Mr. Roscoe

A Poem by Luna Zerimar

Mr Roscoe, there you go again.
Picking on me. Calling me names again.

But I take you in. And I take all your harassment in.

I see right through you.
I see what's going on in,
And around you.

Worthless,
Invisible,
Afraid.

That's why you do me these things.

Someone tore you.
Left you stone-hearted.
Mistreated you until you were selfish.

So I take you in. I take all your harassment in.

So I can learn how to be stronger. How to be wiser.
So I can stand up. When you've pushed me down below.

Mr. Roscoe,
Pick on me.
Call me names.

I'll take you in.

I'll take all your harassment in.

That is exactly what we should do when someone is beating us down. Prove them wrong.

This is written wonderfully. It gives me the sense that you love the person so much that you're willing to let them treat you badly, because you just want them there and it doesn't matter how. That's what i got, sorry if it's wrong! Love this though x

This is ingenious. The way you expressed rising above a bully by simply realizing that something made them who they are is pure inspiration. This is the kind of piece that should be added to the anti bullying campaigns. As someone who was bullied in school and out, I can truly feel this straight to my soul. Thank you for sharing.
