My love for you is as deep as the ocean,

I would fight for you like a lion fights for his family,

I would care for you as a mother cares for her own,

But I guess that wasn't enough for you...

I guess you didn't fall for me like I fell for you...

You were the universe,

And I was simply a one-time hookup..

I made you my everything,

..I was always nothing,

The happiness we had ended,

I can feel my heart shatter,

There are sleepless nights,

And my stomach is empty,

You played a good game,

You don't feel any shame,

My love is as deep as the ocean,

You were everything,

...But now you're a distant memory.

Never could figure out why they fall for the bad boys. They take the best of who you are.
The good ones only enhance your best attributes, compliment you, help you grow...yeah, I can see why that would be boring. Much more excited watching a good heart to to stone.
