The Moose

I tried my best, moose.

I was under a bridge,

Caught in between troubled water,

Composing my cures,

Practically drowning,

Under the vicious waves,

I could hear clicking,

Click click click,

I stopped the composing,

I could hear the clicks getting nearer,

All of sudden,

I looked up,

With squinted eyes,

I could make out hooves of a moose,

I looked even a little upper,

& I could see his face,

The moose looked into my eyes,

It knew what to do,

It tilted its head,

Lending me one of his antlers,

I grabbed it,

& he pulled me out of the water,

I lied on land,

Struggling to catch my breath,

Once I caught my breath,

I stood up,

& hugged the moose,

"Oh, sweet moose,

Thank you for caring,

Thank you for saving me from the waters",

I let go of him,

& he responded,

"Caramel girl,

Why were you drowning?

How could you ever fall into that water?"

I sat back down,

I started to cry,

I explained how I'd fallen,

& he stood over me,

Just nodding understandingly,

When I finished,

He bent down a little,

Showing me his nozzle,

"Grab a hold of it & stand,

Everything is fine,

You're alright",

I did as he said,

& we began to wonder in his world,

His world was beautiful,

Almost musical,

His psychedelic world was amazing,

Again musical,

With rainbows of colors never seen before,

His personality was the exact same,

He was gentle,

As days went by,

I could feel myself attach to him,

I let myself get to know him,

Now weeks have gone by,

& we're great friends,

Now I'm looking back,

I hear myself choking,

Now I'm looking back,

I can hear his hooves clicking,

I open my eyes,

& I smile,

Smile because it was the moose that saved me,

He didn't let me drown,

"Caramel girl,

You are my friend",

Well moose,

You are my friend too.

I know it's not really a poem, sort of long, & it isn't well written.

Sorry about that.
