Forsaken

Forsaken

A Poem by Luna Zerimar

You've walked away & left me to die,
Left me as I had these blades in my hand,
...Blood slowly dripping for my skin...
You've left me to fend for myself,
Inside I'm dying,
..& you just left me here in the dark,
Why did you even care or try from the start?

Now there's a dart right at my heart,
Are you ever going to take that dart out?
Or are you just going to leave me here to pout?
I tried to forgive you,
But no matter what you do...
I'll have this memory in my head,
This pain is what you fed,

I'm right here still trying to hold it all in,
I've tried to erase you from my life,
..But goodbyes are much too hard..
I no longer want to make myself sane,
I don't care what others say,
..I know this is who I am..
Every cut is now a scar.
