Refusing To Fight

We've only come this far to see it all disappear,

All the riches we gained were lost,

Love,

Peace,

Joy,

& equality now is gone,

Our hearts are once again crushed,

What happens now?

We sit in surrender,

Becoming lifeless,

Staying out of sight,

We refuse to fight,

How did this happen?

Our strengths weakened,

Our thoughts blurred,

We all let our guard down,

We made ourselves look like clowns,

What is going on?

All the plans we made failed,

Now the future is what we're trying to bail,

We're becoming lifeless,

It won't be long until we've been killed,

What's gonna happen now?

Everything we gained is lost,

We came this far,

Now it's all disappearing,

...We surrender...

It isn't worth a fight.
