Humanity

Humanity

A Poem by Luna Zerimar

Losing faith & hope in sick & twisted people,
No mercy or remorse ever thought in their minds,
Racists & bullies everywhere,

There's no wonder why there are so many suicides,

Guilty people running free,
Innocence constantly put into a cage,

How could this be?

Murder goes on every second,
Someone's dying out there,

Who cares?

There are children crying & in pain,
No one tries to hear,

Those who never had happiness ruin each others lives,

It's hard to ask why,
Easy to know why,

People are still asking me why I'm always tired,
It's this world,
The question really is,

How can you stand to stay?

How did this place end up this way?

Humanity isn't an easy thing,

That's what I've come to see,
& think,

There's no faith or hope,

You say you can prove me wrong,
I beg you to,

To see the good in everything is much too hard,

I'm standing here losing faith & hope in sick & twisted people,
There is no mercy or remorse present in their minds,
Racists & bullies everywhere,

It's no surprise why there are so many suicides.

Nicely written again. Reminds me of the Bon Jovi song 'Hey God'.

I don't listen to Bon Jovi much. Thanks again. And, sorry I'm late. ._.
