Space FatherA Poem by Whales
I fly.
Flying overhead and I see the ants surrounding me. So innocent So vulnerable So weak. Sweet belly's full of anger and fear. They don't see me. Nobody does. Swiftly dropping the bombs with no mercy. No time to think, just burning bodies in the heart of my war. The whales drop and explode. Lighthouses of a cherry, and arrows of water. I see my father staring down at me Eye's full of disgust and hope. How sad it was to see the car go by and bounce with the sack of organs and a beautiful mind that is gone from Independence Days, three am, a crying boy. A stupid, ignorant fifteen year old boy. But i realize this. and I hope he does to. I hope his lighthouses guide me to the mountain of cherry's old. His Humpback whale will take me away. To lands of greater things, and soon, I will be happy again. © 2012 WhalesReviews
