In the distance I see a flowe~~

Listen up and I'll tell a story

About a manic depressant growing old.

All he wanted was a horse

To play in the running water with

And for someone to comfort him.

Beautifully tragic, excellent write. I agree with Alexa Tasch, I like how you started off the tone and feel of the poem as happy, and then you shifted it to more of a melancholy feel.
