Universe Away

Universe Away

A Poem by Enigma

You wander the stars each morning

Taking refuge along Saturn’s rings

Until the sun found you that evening

With a small hesitant gleam in your eyes

Jupiter looked twice when you giggle

Listening to each note as you spoke

Mars and Pluto would always applaud

In the dusk of night

You were happy among the stars

Always playing games with them

I wasn’t sad when I lost you knowing

Heaven or Hell you’d shine bright enough

Shoving through the hardships over the bridge

I wished I could see you but alas,

You were a Universe Away.

I love the theme of this piece!! I tend to gravitate towards stars in a lot of my work too. This was poem had a sort of sentimental, light air to it. Good work!!!

Honestly, I've never been a fan of anything to do with space,
But I enjoyed this.[x
