Locked

Locked

A Poem by Enigma

Come outside

love

you’re still in there right?

I didn’t mean to

close the door,

the latch was simply

jammed.

I know you don’t

want to leave

but I promise

this time will be the

last.

Am I speaking to

any empty room?

Did you already

get dressed and

go?

I hope you’ll

forgive me this time

love

it wasn’t  ever my fault.

Come outside

love

you’re still in there

right?

I love this this piece. It was wonderfully written!

its speaks...and sincere as I read the words...
the hook line works with the piece...
the idea that you're not just talking to the door...
and the person is on the other side hearing your plea...
