To Hell and Back

To Hell and Back

A Poem by Enigma

When I die oh when I  die
make sure I go to hell,
and when I  come back,
when I come back
I'll have stories to tell.
He asked me then
"oh why oh why would you go to my realm?
I said "I don't know, I never have
but I know it's up ahead."
When I die, oh when I die
make sure they leave me be,
distractions are my only vice
oh how they make me bleed.
They say "oh s**t he's crazy," but
I don't really mind, project it back
at me, but I'm the closest to divine.
He said "Well oh well oh well, then,
go right on ahead. Take my advise
and forget this life because
I'll take it instead."
I let him take my soul, my life, my name
my heart.
I always saw it coming, just never knew so soon
I had nothing left, not even my shoes
My face was his and his was now mine,
nothing special about it,
we were both suddenly divine.
When I die, oh when I die
make sure I go to hell,
when I come back, when I come back,
I'll have stories to tell.

Enigma
Charles Manson allusion... I enjoyed making this.
Sorta a work in progress, kinda.

pretty damn awesome
i like how you used divine. it reminds me of how charles manson refers to himself as god, but still he's on his way to hell
