Dance Away

Why do tears stream like the rain,

and the rain falls leaving millions of stains,

like dying stars we fall asleep as we count

 

If you're about to stutter and scatter,

Dance away...

It'll soak the tears,

 

If you can't count the raindrops pouring down,

 

Walk Away...

Under an umbrella,

It might ease the fears.

Not one of those inspirational jewels, just something ebbing and flowing with my thoughts.

Another side thought for this would be, "Why does the rain make people want to cry?"
This may be rather simple, but works in comparison.

The rain to me is the tears of Jesus
That cleanses the world
And when we cry our tears cleanse our soul

Though there is a darkness here... a sadness raining down... there is that hope that in the midst of it all we can choose to dance... to face our fears and pain and choose to rise above it. Very powerful.
