Lovely LemonadeA Poem by YouoweYoupayI especially love your indecision..
Lovely Lemonade
At times silliness calls itself a poem Despite my disapproval And my pen would always falter Before I could reach a maneuver I love the way your daylight dust and smell Keep their distance from me I love the impatience And the fragile tangles of everything Fear and sour fiction The seemingly saddened pigeon nests Spells and superstitions And greater thinkers from the West
I love the humble sound Of the stone fountain Burbling and murmuring all your Precious crumbs of dreams Which you couldn't quite remember I especially love your indecision Before your eyes settle on a decision Of whether my skies should be
The color of lovely lemonade And bits of artistic grey Or the shade of ostentatious orange That shouts and has very little to say.
