DesertedA Poem by Loui SEFar fetched voices caught in one hand, chasing choices disappearing in drying, wet sand. Distant drums rumble slowly into my conscious mind. To each task I stumble leaving the last one behind. as I sternly await the incoming news. indifferent about the outtake I am awkwardly amused, as Ready for the result of my intake I lay down and inflate setting my lungs a tune and as I exhale I pray, I sing, I swoon hoping that suggestions can bring good fortune. Tired I vividly await the crescenting moon, waning and waxing in circles. I am confident that it will all be whole soon.
