The song of time

The song of time

A Chapter by Storyteller of Dimensions
"

After a long time finally something to add. I wonder, why do I always write about such things. Well anyway this has been inspired by a song from "Corner Stone Cues" called "Madokara Mieru"

"

Hold!

Open your ears

Listen!

Do you hear?

The winds carries it

over the land

over the sea

over time and space

The timeless song

of gods themselves

the song of what was

what is

and what might be

of the dead

of the living

of the yet to be born

of the forgotten

of the celebrated

of the adventures yet to come

The wind

brings us a sad song

of its masters

the song of what was

what is

and what might be

song of life

of death

of the time we have

it sings

about the ceaseless

circle of life

and one day

the song will end

and a new will begin

as everything else

Do you hear the song

of time?

Hey! Finally I'm back! I love that you are doing such crisp poems as your comeback. It reminded me of a French group called Manau, not sure if you are familiar with them, it gives the feeling of lore .

I love this poem! Very insightful. It makes you consider the whole spectrum of life, past and present. Beautiful work, beautifully written.
