You say I'm important to you
yet how much truth is in those words
'cause you spit them out like venom

I want to be the girl you desire
have you crave to feel my touch
my voice like honey to your ears

You say you will try
you've said this before
10 times to be exact

Your voice calms me 
when the thoughts are at the door
You make the world I'm in a safe place

You say you want this
does it include me
do I fit in your perfect world


You say I'm important to you
I see you try 
Just mean it
