A False Heaven

I wrote this for an AU video my friend, Verik Productions2 over on YouTube, made of the series Supernatural.

Through this place I see no clouds

For I am above them.

I haven’t wondered about them before,

How they’ve never existed.

But now I’ve seen you.

And I know

Why.

 

I’m gone and you are still there.

Hell licks at your heels and yet you wander

Lost and broken and alone

Upon the cold soil of the Earth.

It hurts me.

Every time your eyes come into

My visions.

You wouldn’t know what it is like.

Seeing you kill yourself

Over and over

Day after day.

I can do nothing to help.

I want to save you.

Hold you.

Tell you of my love for you

Brother.

I wasn’t able to.

Before I died.

 

But now I see everything so clearly.

I need you.

You need me.

We cannot live without each other.

And I don’t want to.

I’ll find a way.

Back to you.
