Bubbly and Blue

Bubbly and Blue

A Poem by Abigail Lee

Some bubbly

And blue

Others of pink

Or yellow hue.

Some round

Some square

Some shaped as a pear.

Light

Dark

Big

Small

Gumballs

For everyone.

Complete with

Anthrax and all.

This poem reaches into the sadistic side of our family that only rarely shows itself. With the exception of you and myself. Is it bad I would love nothing more than to sit at your side and watch the reaction of the victims of this plot? XD

Wow...That sounded terrible. Oh well..Love you cousin. Your writing is still marvelous.

The irony in this poem does nothing short of make me smile. I love how as the reader continues with the poem they might return to their child, what kid didn't love gum balls? The last two lines are perfect in my opinion. It causes the reader to stop, give their screen a bewildered expression, and laugh; I love it.

It also seems to me as if the writer is the one responsible for having the Anthrax, as if they're just watching and waiting for the unsuspecting victims to realize what's going on.

All in all I think it's a nice piece. Well done my good friend.
