Spacesuit

Spacesuit

A Poem by Wavesnotwar

The spacesuit that I was sent to earth in
has sprung a leak.
Now every ounce of my frigid soul
is finding its way out

My soul is in shambles
and is looking to become realigned

I find it in the dizzy 60's streets

Is this truly my place?
Or just where my soul thinks it should be...

I have fallen astray with reality, but fallen in love
with the way a set of words
strung together
can evoke the emotion
of a million moments of time
