The Unknown

The Unknown

A Poem by Angel55606
"

A poem about a woman, finding herself.

"

In the whispering wind,

Within her wake.

Standing at the door of fate,

Half scared out of her mind.

Within the chambers,

total clarity to break though the cracks,

She's surrendering herself.

Her arms stifly at her side,

The wind cradles her face, hair.

It hits the background of her nerves,

Gently laying it's whispers,

Inside of her soul.

Blood boils under scarred skin,

Her heart full of desire.

Facing her fears,

Emotions running wild.

She jumps across the broken door,

From a world of puppies and fairies,

Into a world of the unknown.

She passes the threshold,

And the screams she hears are deafning.

I guess that's why it's called a leap of faith. For a shy person, the world is a scary unknown. But hey....you took the leap ( : O )
