Like a mystery? This company is one, because it appears to be a phony. If you look up the address on Google's street-view, the address is a small office building and the company name isn't on the building's listing of tenants, or by a doorway. Nor are there any trucks with their name on it in the lot (there's a plumbing truck there, but I suspect they were making a service call, because they don't offer water cleanup service)

Look up their phone number and it gives the same phony address. But look further and you'll find "water damage removal, Long Island," with a phone number only a few digits away, at: 516 629-0775 (as against 516-629-0781). Check their address and you'll find it, too, is phony. It's the address of the Water District office for the area, not a commercial firm.

I'm guessing that this is a scam, where someone spams for a service they don't provide, then, when a call comes in, they forward the information to a legitimate company, for a commission. So anyone who might otherwise call the legitimate company, but sees the phony first, has part of their payment diverted to the scammer.

SO, not only to these b******s spam us—and lots of other sites, I'm sure—they're as slimy as you can get.

Anyone else want to play with these guys? If it tuns out that they are phony, I'm going to contact the other firms in the area and tell them what there slimeballs are doing.
