Her

Her

A Poem by WatchMeRise

The salty ocean breeze sweeps swiftly through her hair in the morning.
The glowing light as the sun is growing higher in the sky illuminates warmth upon her.
The odd smell of the water grasps her weakly as she adores the painted sky that is displayed before her.
The soft blues, the peaceful reds, and the triumphantly prevalent pinks all compliment each other in the world above her.
This beautiful array of colors compliment themselves as much as they compliment her, as she herself is beautiful.
But, a disconnect from the world and all it's elements is evident for her.
The world is not always beautiful.
Sometimes, the world turns its back and unleashes unbridled, ugly energy.
But, she is always beautiful.
Whether it's the dark of the night or it's just a simple mid September gloom, she will never change.
That smile will take me away even as the world is falling apart.
Those eyes will take my attention as I am bearing witness to the end of the world. She will grab all of my attention, and the world will melt away.
I love her and all of her beauty.
