The Price of Such Beauty is PainA Poem by Watch Me ScreamSometimes to know beauty, you have to know painClouds, a cloud: Hear me as I speak aloud Though I've got not much more to say Got so much on my mind with so little time But rejoice for this feeling shall stay
Choices, a choice: To find and use your voice Search the right words with which to speak To convey your message to all thats near And guide you towards what you seek
Saviours, a saviour: To do one last favor Burn all of your demons alive Discover what's good deep inside And vanquish that on which they thrive
Shouts, a shout: What it's all about A way you can vocalize pain Or anger or fear or all of the above Without nasty scars 'long a vein
Sings, a song: And we all sing along A tune we all once knew so well Violence and wreckage distraught by peace And Heaven defined by Hell
Think, a thought: With all you've got Grab a pen and write it down quick If I don't get it down: This beaty I found I think I just might be sick
Tears, a tear: One for each fear For once not embodied by stress Or sadness, despair, lack of strength But the joy of not having to guess
Lose, a loss: Like a dime you toss You've broke free of the sickness' grip You are finally free and here with me Take my hand and you shall not slip.
Clutches, a clutch: Grips reality too much And faith has gone straight to waste If you shall loosen your hold, believe once again Then sweetness is all you shall taste. © 2012 Watch Me ScreamAuthor's Note
