They

They

A Poem by Wasteofpaint666

"I miss you, I made a huge mistake. I think about you all the time"

Always from the wrong people at the wrong times.

Come to the realization that you are the "lonely at best" girl.

They talk about the future

They compliment your eyes and sarcasm

They lie about the music they know/like

They buy you a drink

They f**k you

They ask about your writing

They finally read your writing

They feel sorry for you and ask if you want some Xanax

They talk more about the future

They ask about your past

They get a glimmer of your past

They say "I'm so sorry"

They stop talking about the future

They say "I'm worried about you"

They don't want to f**k you anymore

They say they thought they were ready for commitment, but they changed their minds

They leave

They don't write back

They find another girl much happier and skinnier

They get their heart stomped on

They watch a sad movie

They start writing back

They miss you

They made a mistake

They know what they want now, and its you

You feel nothing.
