Silence Is Golden

Silence Is Golden

A Poem by Wasteofpaint666

Modified to fit your screen

I’m changing all the time

Nominated to win an Oscar

I’m lying when I rhyme

Your jealousy

My secret trysts

Rosy red lipstick

And your swinging fist

Making the difference

Has gotten me here

Brilliance in pain

As I fight back a tear

You must be my bad karma

And I must be yours

Cause we’ve both made mistakes

Gone through the wrong doors

And I’m saying I’m sorry

For the way that you feel

But my decision will stand

No matter how long you kneel

All or nothing

And there’s no turning back

Silence is golden

Let’s give it a wack
