Realising your worth and not allowing to be treated like your anything less

A troubled soul
hunger for acception and unconditonal love
my mind betrays me
when the ghosts come haunting..

lost in thought ,wishes
to analyse where I stand with myself
my weak heart - breaks
when the demons come tormenting

the one I lay in bed with
confuses and challenges me

speaks of another woman
but i fail to leave
my body betrays me by feeling what my soul loathes

the one I love
disrespects me
by loving someone else
my heart is weak for trusting a monster
But , I
have grown now
So I
know better
when the demons come
I'll know how to fight

refuse to be lied to
I refuse to be diminished
I refuse to be degraded
I refuse to be hurt
I refuse to be an option
I refuse to come second.
I refuse to be robbed of my dignity

I'm glad that you stand up for what you believe in and don't take anyone's crap. No one deserves lies or to be treated as an option. Everyone deserves to be special and appreciated for all they're doing in this world, be in big or small. Everyone has a purpose. We all deserve a title for being here and standing strong.
