Maine Attraction

A poem for someone I know. more possibility to none she will also never know I wrote it if I am not successful at gaining her attention.

Today I've set sights on you

Know that my efforts will see it through.

As the flames reach a steady blaze

consuming any doubts I had in past days

You have been in mind

I could have a bad day but the rise

of your voice gives me renewed hope

that this desire is a mutual scope

For now I am the sole owner of this desire

Let me become your pillar and join me at this fire

let us burn together, in love, connected by oath

if needed for you, I will relocate coast

please know I am made of flesh as you

there will be imperfections I cannot move

for what I lack in beauty or appearance

I will care and love you twice the adherence 

Whatever I may lack in your eyes

I would ensure to fill mind over 3 times

for the mind is the owner of the heart

I may be nuts for taking things this far

Yet hearing the sound of your voice

is the best thing I have to look forward to.

Until sight replaces that and places opportunity allowing to 

see the daily smile on your face
