Rediscover

A Poem by Antonio Soler

When it is gone; who can bring it back

Something that was so active, yet remains in the past

Lovers. Where have you gone?

Lovers. Are the pleasures now reduced to a yawn?

Gun in hand but the gun does not kill

The owners who have forgotten of the thrills

Oh my.. How apart they have grown

Time. The devious killer has set the tone

Long-established are the minds that once never dare to hide with every blink a memory is erased, turning hellos more to goodbyes.

In this story lovers do move on, once so spacious now so tight.

Maybe a new figure is there to save you and make things right

Or perhaps these lovers love temporary lovers

If absent; a few lonesome days to recover

Time is cruel for being so short, in this case all is right

As long as your heart does not divide from mind and alone it takes flight.
