Im tired.

I am tired.

Tired of worrying.

Tired of thinking.

Tired of trying.

Only to come up short.

I give something my all,

receive nothing in return.

Tired of being tired.

I wish i wasn't taught this way.

Brought up this way.

To be stubborn.

Don't give up,

even on a lost cause.

Maybe I wasn't taught that.

Just kinda picked it up along the way.

But, I still can't stop.

I will forever be tired.

I must accept this.

Defeat.

Well written, you expressed your sentiment with clarity and grace.

I would encourage you to consider that all hardship is for a someday good. There is no true perfection in this world and we are meant to make the best we can out of the pain we are given and turn it around into something beautiful. Wear your scars proudly, let them teach and fulfill you. Allow your battles to make you stronger and learn from your defeats. If you do not learn from the mistakes you make at your age it will be very hard to turn it around the longer time goes by in these habits that perpetuate defeat.

Don't stop being stubborn either, just learn good judgement in order to redirect that stubbornness to do good for you and others. You do this anyway, I've seen it.

This sounds like another late night Burning Crusade talk :P y'know? The ones about Angel and life and such? Oi!

Oh oh and I like this style, I'd love to see a few more in this style, play around with it a bit. The length is perfect and the flow is good.

Thank you for your words of wisdom, which have guided me in many other times. Yes, it does remind me of the talks we use to have, i miss them greatly.

I kind of wrote this poem at 5 a.m., but I will try and use this style again, now that i look at it, i actually see what you are talking about xP. Isn't that sad? Haha. Once again thank you.
