Decaying

Memorized this one for a poetry class I took fall semester.

The other night,

     I allowed a spider to bite me.

A Big spider,

     And then I wondered.

Will it hurt,

     When the venom pumps through my heart.

Will it kill me,

      Nice and slow or in an instant.

But then I remember,

      I am already dead inside.

So everything above is impossible.
