My MemoryA Poem by The Warrior PoetThis was written on the fly - SPECIFICALLY for the Creative Poetry group using these words: predestine, endowed, enlightened, lilting, mystify, elationWhether through fate or random chance, Predestined path or happenstance, My Memory endowed me with images from my past. So as I stood at the crossroads staring, Not knowing the way (not really caring), My Memory enlightened me - I remembered my way home at last. But as I walked with a lilting stride, I stopped for a moment mystified, Bad situation, no drunken elation, My Memory had failed me as I realized I was lost.
