Loss of ThoughtsA Poem by The Warrior PoetWriters blockReaching in to grab a thought, Calmly pulsing fingertips caught in half-shadowed images, sink to where silence and sound and drifting imagery twine about. Obscured inside the mist, a moisture lingers, gently, Settles on my palm and trembling fingers. Ever so cautiously, with jaws clenched, trembling, I withdraw an empty fist, clamped tight on empty air, and slam it in my empty rage, Through the papers blank white stare.
