RomanceA Poem by The Warrior PoetRapture and romance... Oh what a pairRomance Smooth skinned pebbles rolling gently in the tide... Wading shoreline, bare feet splashing, Sunset purple, orange, yellow, and white, clouds gathered, and scattered to the night... (Twilight) Hands enclosed lightly one minute then tightly and breath having once come easily now gone, embracing sunset between us... Crossing the line we drew as friends, and going far beyond. The seashore sounds faded in the surging passion, with breath held one moment, then released as curled-toe screams in the twilit air. Two souls lay captivated in ecstasy together as the sun set and night entered, two bodies embraced in fulfillment collapsed, breath once held then released, now gone, for having crossed a line once drawn, and for going far beyond it.
