Fountain Of Destiny

Fountain Of Destiny

A Poem by Warren Daniel II
"

The Goddess of love's secret

"
Sunlight seeps through the cracks
Her soul forever silhouetted
Her tears disperse into the abyss
And re-emerge as the stars we know
As our hearts collide, a whisper of her name escapes my very lips

A million souls rejuvenated by her aura, and bow down in her presence,I remember a time when love used to love her. The Goddess of love remains mute to my requests, I'm unhinged beneath her spell once she manifests her woe

I long to sculpt my love upon her innocence
And for her love to intertwine eternally within my veins. I believed we possessed forever, when our souls interlinked. A night of shooting stars as I stare into her constellation I dare not blink

She maybe impaled to the Earth, bleeding drops of purity. Only with her, my face would be petrified as I welcome her magnificent purge onto me. As we flirt back and forth, oh yes I'm forever tempted to unmask her Godly beauty

Her damaged roots reject her endorphins
Poisoned is her photosynthesis the bringer of all light and the genesis of all which is pure.
Purgatory is what has become from the once pure garden of eden, So begins the search for the fountain of destiny.

So descriptive! It accurately captures and enchantingly displays the dark and magnificent essence of a beautiful, damaged woman and the way she is perceived by the one who loves her. It spoke to me on a deeply personal level. It was a privilege to read this.

You write about her so well in this poem.
In some parts I feel like I am looking up close at her, just staring. And at other part I feel like I am seeing her from far away, trying to make out some figure.
Well done!

Thank you so much for your kind review, your honest thoughts mean a lot!
Warren: Stopping at the end of 3rd stanza: A night of shooting stars as I stare into her constellation I dare not blink: building to this Oh my God: Brilliant: Her tears disperse into the abyss And re-emerge as the stars we know: A million souls rejuvenated by her aura, and bow down in her presence,I remember a time when love used to love her.The Goddess of love remains mute to my requests, I'm unhinged beneath her spell once she manifests her woe: I'm too breathless taken away by this magnificent writing to be concerned with grammar: Posioned (sp) & appriciated in notes: This is brilliant writing bar none. Bravo. You are so, so very talented and I thank you. I love it!! Dale

The poem has a mystique quality to it.which had my brain bells ringing. Its good for my thoughts to have a bit of exercise. The way you have amalgamated Divinty and nature speaks of the romantic kind of poetry.I am a great fan of Keats and in the same way your words had that magical power to make me fly away to that fountain oftain of destiny :) *keep writing*
