Like blood staining blood A treason beyond reason Suspicions dare to flair And accusations go in vain
Like death devours death Sorrow kisses guilt To father innocence In treacherous beds
Silence shouts to silence Begging for the voice of void To surrender to eerie whispers Whimpering in the wind
Darkness descends on darkness To keep the light at bay Cold shadows slither on walls And consume the moon
Twilight hours summon ghosts And images in the corners They come at me at night And force my hand to write...
