Welcome to the Maze

One bold step forward into the maze
without fear or doubt, 
Exhausted yet unrelenting,
With hope never yielding.

In a perfect world that would be enough,
Nothing but loneliness is ever found alone.
Without guidance or aid
the path will remain triumphantly lost

Optimism will hold the spirit true,
while help watches the struggle.
