Candy Assassin

Its just kinda silly. I felt like writing and it was just fun!

Quite as a mouse I walk up the stairs. 

No one will know I'm here.

I move as quickly as I can opening the door.

I pick up a knife from the kitchen. 

I freeze.

There is a sound on the floor above, moving footsteps. 

I duck down behind the counter as a light flicks on. 

If I'm caught I'm dead.

It would be off to prison again. 

The light turns off and the footsteps recede. 

I pull down my mask and blend into the darkness. 

Holding the knife at ready, I slowly open the door of my target.

With one swift movement I stab down. 

Again and again.

I was the knife in the sink as quietly as I can and place it where it belongs.

I grab my victim and finish the job.

I put the piece of pie on a plate and run back to my room with a fork.

Mission complete.

so creative. love the title.
i love how you play with the readers mind until the very end, yet from the beginning it has a sense of lightheartedness ,especially will the colored words and the fonts.
