Chapter 3: Big PharmaA Chapter by Wardenexcerpt out of my book "The Enlightened thoughts of an Enlightened Mind"Chapter 3: Big
Pharma Within the
U.S. There is a dark plague infecting millions of people. This plague is known
as Addiction. More people are now
addicted to one substance or another than ever before. It is reaching epidemic proportions. Ironically in the wake of Nixon’s “drug war”,
this problem has grown only worse. The solution?
Well the current solution unsurprisingly follows suit with the rest of the U.S.
Health Care system, treat the symptoms, and ignore the root problem. Honestly, it’s
downright shameful. Here we have millions of people whom have manifested their
pain and suffering into the cruel unforgiving trap that is addiction. And as a
society, the best treatment we can come up with is to give them more drugs.
Albeit, they may be helpful in treating some of the Symptoms. The fact remains;
we are giving addicts more drugs to get them off drugs. If you have a firm grasp on the principles of
Human Psychology/ Have personal experience with addiction, you understand how ludicrous
this all sounds. This is a textbook example of Modern Western Medicine‘s doctrine,
treat the symptoms and mask the root problem. To put it
into context, Imagine here you have an opioid addict, and you replace His/Her Heroin
with a synthetic “safe” drug that is pretty much identical to the original
drug. We effectively replace one (illegal) drug with another (legal)
alternative. Once again, perpetrating the
Mantra of our time, treat the symptoms. Ignore the cause. All the while the Psychological manifestation
of Addiction remains untreated and the addict becomes addicted to the synthetic
drug. In walks Big
Pharma. Walk in to any addiction
recovery center in the country, and you will find that almost (if not all) of
the patients have been prescribed at least one psychoactive drug (probably more like 3+). All you have to do is
follow the money to find out why. Big Pharmaceutical companies have a vested
interest in maintaining this status quo. Big Pharma is heavily involved in all
aspects of this system, from funding and supporting these Addiction centers, to
spending hundreds of millions lobbying elected officials to influence industry
regulations, as well as meddling in the judicial system to perpetrate the
status quo. Big Pharma in effect controls everything the FDA does, they control
how are Doctors are trained and educated. Educate yourself a little and do a
simple Google search, Look at how many former Big Pharma CEO’s are currently
serving in our government. (Hint: you’d have a better chance at finding one who
isn’t.) Recently
there was public outcry against the Big Tobacco industry for targeting Military
Personnel and people with Mental Illnesses (i.e. Depression/ Anxiety etc.) While
this is a step in the right direction, it lies in direct contrast to what is
happening in the Big Pharma industry. One of this
nation’s great Hero’s, Maj. Gen Smedley Butler (2 time MoH Recipient) once said
in one of his speech’s “War is a Racket”. I think he would agree with me when I
say Healthcare is a Racket. © 2018 Warden |
