Fine

Fine

A Poem by Want2Write

It's fine that I'm second
Always alone
Never picked first
And not welcome at home.

It's fine that I'm tired
Moved by myself
Started to heal
It's all kept below

It's fine that I have that smile
The real stuff don't show
You keep your end of the deal
And make sure I'm low

It's fine I'm your scapegoat
Your damsel when you need
A punch bag when it suits
And invisible when you can't look at me

It's fine I've grown
I now know
You're human too
I can't let these things go
They'll creep in my memories
And pry on my dreams
I've accepted what was
And can focus on what is to be.
