Broken fortune cookie

Broken fortune cookie

A Poem by No one

Fortune cookie message. Angel's Lady inspired me to enter this in the contest. I changed it around a bit to fit the theme. I thought about putting in something with bad grammar and misspelled words to make it seem like a real fortune cookie message. But m

"This cookie tastes like chalk," she said, and spit it into a napkin.

"I didn't know anybody actually ate the cookies. You're really brave. What's the fortune say?" I said.

"It says to kiss you."

And she did.

Oh my gosh, this was so perfect. I honestly smiled, a real
big one too, at the end. It was just awesome. I don't
think that a longer version of this would have been as
magical. Wow. I commend you for these wonderful words.
And really, the best thing about words is that you can do
anything, make any person do anything, pull a dream through.
And that's just what you did here.

Get rid of "I said," and this poem is perfect. Perfectly hilarious and adorable.

I'll have to remember that line! How romantic!

I've never viewed a fortune cookie quite so romantically! You've managed to make it that way.

I really like this. Unique, clever... and somehow romantic.

I think I'll start making up my own fortunes... :)

Peace, Dani

As always, you crack me up! The graphic was a nice touch. Yes, spelling and grammar you could have done better on. (snicker!)

'Tis my great fortune that I found this little cookie, simply adorable. What a brilliant idea! I love that you transformed something mundane into a creative way to get that kiss! The graphic you designed made for a tasty addition.

You're a creative cookie...

Loved it!
