Just A TeenA Poem by A. V. MadisonNight surfing and laughing Corona with a little lime and you whisper in my ear "Let's not waste a good time,"
And I'm sitting on your shoulders singing along to the radio and the only thing I'm thinking about is melting into the stereo.
And our parents think we're at school But we got in Matt's blue Toyota because we are all just that cool and drove to this tiny little beach
And we're not emo, we're not preppy we're not crazy, we're not scene we're just gonna be us and we're just teens.
