Mirror, Mirror, On The Wall...

Mirror, Mirror, On The Wall...

A Poem by A. V. Madison

Rall

xx

As I walk past the mirror I begin to catch a glance

A glance of a boy that is stuck in this trance

Mirror, mirror, on the wall,

is this the boy I tore from it all?

Brown flattened hair and a sting to the eye

the face that my mother would caress and cry

Mirror, mirror, on the wall,

Is this the boy that was once three feet tall?

A whiskey tint to the breath and a cut to wrist

Alison says such pain is such bliss

Mirror, mirror, on the wall,

Is this the boy that murdered them all?

Alison

xx

As I stare in the mirror I see the TV

On the screen is the face of the man made for me

Mirror, mirror, on the wall,

Tell that's not my true love Rall.

The caption below reads that he killed three

Rall's eyes just sit there and peer at me

Mirror, mirror, on the wall

They say it was his family but he loved them all

I collapse to the tub with a crayon in my hand

And I write all the things I don't understand

Mirror, mirror, on the wall

I know he cared but he shot them all.

The flow is amazing. Absolutely amazing. I love how you were able to switch point of view well too. Great job
