Bottling The Sky

Bottling The Sky

A Poem by A. V. Madison
"

A topic that's been done to death, but hey, why not give it a try? Enjoy!!

"
If I could bottle the sky
would it still shift to night?
Would the clouds still darken?
Would the sun explode into light?

When it rain, would it really?
Or would it pour into the world
like a tremor?
Pent-up energy shattering the
glass?

Would the bottle ever fill?
Because the sky is nothing
without us beneath it.
If we are nothing either,
then what is the sky?

If no one is there to watch it,
would the sun ever really rise?
Would the stars become an
everlasting night?
Would these things still happen,
if you bottled the sky?
