I met a girl the other day. But the one thing that amazed my most thoroughly was that her name was California.

Thank you, zainul. And yes, I was able to help her. California is fine and well. In all honesty, California was my suicidal 13-year-old neighbor. Her mother just died (hence the line "and her daddy's lost his only wife"), and she became depressed. I happened to walk into her room right as she was about to commit suicide, and I convinced her not to. Last I heard California was living somewhere in New York.

But thank you anyways.

Again,it is a sad thing that a helpless girl is often branded as a s**t.
The people who take advantage of her helplessness, make her s**t to exploit her weakness time and again.This humiliation may also compel her to seek peace in suicide.

How do I feel? Quite frankly I'm a little pissed off. It's not a good thing that just by the way you look, you're being branded as a certain type of person, and no one wants to get to know you. Like me- I have a lot of problems in my life. Including non-substance addiction (when you are addicted to something that isn't drugs or alcohol or anything illegal.). But just because I have some problems that need to be worked out, no one wants to get to know me. I'm still a good person. But that's the thing about society today- if you don't fit someone's criteria, you're doomed.
