The Final Question. Why?

The Final Question. Why?

A Poem by A. V. Madison

It shocks me that when I'm around you

I feel so strangely at ease

your the only one in the classroom

who said "bless you" when I sneezed

Your the knight in shining armor

your the sun that somehow rose in the west

your the one who calls me at midnight

your the one who makes me think life is a test

Your the one who through pebbles at my window

your the one who didn't tell me your love had a fee

So while you were laughing and smiling and loving

Deep inside, tangled in my veins, you were slowly killing me.
